What We Do
The McKee group companies were founded on scientific research and mineral exploration and the Trust wishes to support the advancement of research and scientific endeavours.
Each Nelson High School receives $800 per year for students with outstanding achievement in the Sciences. Annual science prizes have been awarded to students in local schools since the 1970’s.
From 2020, these prizes were expanded to recognise students’ in the arts as well as science. The sum of $800 is provided to each of the ten Colleges in the Nelson-Tasman region every year to celebrate excellence.
