Annual science and arts prizes are awarded to students in local schools. Each year Tertiary scholarships are awarded to students from local secondary schools.
Christmas payments are awarded to long serving former employees of the family companies. Grants are made to food banks and other local welfare organisations.
What We Do
Our Story
The McKee Trust was formed in 1968 by Guy & Tasman (Tas) and other family of the late Arthur McKee to benefit long-serving former employees and for local charitable and education purposes. The Mapua group of companies included Fruitgrowers Chemical Company and Lime & Marble Ltd.
In 2008 that McKee Trust was restructured to become the McKee Charitable Trust and the McKee Trust.
The McKee Charitable Trust is registered with Charities Services CC37387 and the McKee Trust is privately administered
